Career Guidance and Counselling Session at Rampur Convent School
Early career awareness plays a pivotal role in shaping a student’s academic trajectory and long-term professional aspirations. With an objective to mentor school students during their formative years, the Centre for Training and Academic Guidance (CTAG) organized a comprehensive Career Guidance and Counselling Session on 22 September 2026 at Rampur Convent School, located at Pahadi Gate, Rampur, UP West.
Mentorship by Jamia Millia Islamia Alumnus
The interactive session was led by Mr. Rizwan Shah Khan, an esteemed alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi. Drawing from his academic and professional experience, Mr. Khan engaged the young learners with actionable insights on career awareness, self-assessment, and recognizing one’s natural inclinations.
He emphasized that career planning is not something to be postponed until higher secondary education, but a continuous journey of understanding one’s core strengths, developing problem-solving skills, and remaining curious about diverse industry domains.
Active Participation from Middle & High School Students
The session saw enthusiastic participation from more than 100 students across Classes 7, 8, and 9. The interactive design of the workshop allowed students to ask candid questions about subject selection, future avenues in science, commerce, humanities, and emerging vocational disciplines.
