SSC Officer Recruitment: Indian Navy Invites Applications

The Indian Navy has invited applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers in various branches, starting from June 2025. Candidates can apply online through the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. The last date to apply is September 29.

• Branches: Executive, Education, and Technical
• Unmarried Men and women both can apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age Limit:

   • Candidates born between July 2, 2000, and January 1, 2006 are eligible to apply.

2. Educational Qualifications:

   • The candidates must have completed their degree with 55% marks in the relevant disciplines from a recognized university or institution. Final-year students who meet this criterion can also apply, provided they submit proof of passing by June 2025.

3. Branches/Fields:

   • Executive Branch:
     • SSC General Service (GS/X), Hydro Cadre
     • Air Traffic Controller (ATC)
     • Naval Air Operations Officer (NAOO)
     • Logistics
   • Technical Branch:
     • Engineering
     • Electrical

4. Selection Process:

   • Shortlisting: Based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
   • SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB Interview.
   • Medical Examination: Final selection will be based on medical fitness.

5. Training and Pay Scale:

   • Training will commence in June 2025 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala.
   • The pay scale will be as per the rank of Sub Lieutenant.
