Inspire (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) is a scholarship scheme launched by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract young students towards science. The scheme aims to encourage students to pursue basic science courses and research.

Scholarship Benefits:

• Annual Scholarship: INR 80,000 per year
• Summer Mentorship Grant: INR 20,000 for research projects
• Duration: 5 years

Eligibility Criteria:

• Academic Excellence: Students must be among the top 1% in their respective state board's 12th class examination.
• JEE Advanced or NEET-UG: Students who have secured a rank within the top 10,000 in JEE Advanced or NEET-UG are also eligible.
• NTSE/JBNSTS: National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) or JBNSTS scholars are eligible.
• Age Limit: 17-22 years
