PhD Admission at NIMHANS

 

National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru is inviting applications for the External Funding Category PhD Program for the January 2025 session.

Eligibility:

  • M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S., B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc. (Allied Health Sciences), B.Sc., B.E./B.Tech., M.L.T., M.Sc. (Pharm), M.Sc., M.Tech./M.E., M.Phil., Masters in Orthotix and Prosthetics, Masters in Speech Pathology and Audiology, or equivalent in relevant subjects.

External Funding Category:

  • Candidates with fellowships from external funding agencies, foreign scholars, and those working on NIMHANS projects are eligible.
  • Government institutions/universities sponsoring/deputing permanent/tenure-track faculty members are also eligible.

  • Biophysics, Biostatistics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychopharmacology, Clinical Psychology, Epidemiology, Public Health, Human Genetics, Integrative Medicine, Mental Health Education, Neuroanatomy, Neurophysiology, Neurochemistry, Neuroimaging and Interventional Radiology, Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Neurorehabilitation, Neuromicrobiology, Neuropathology, Neurovirology, Nursing, Psychiatric Social Work, Psychiatry, History of Psychiatry, Mental Health Rehabilitation, Psychosocial Support in Disaster Management, Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Admission Process:

  • Admission will be through an entrance exam to be held on November 24 in Bengaluru.
