National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET) 2024

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) under the Ministry of Tourism invites applications for the National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET) 2024. The test is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associate in Hotel Management Institutes affiliated to NCHMCT.

Eligibility:

Assistant Lecturer:

• Educational Qualification: Post-graduation degree in Hospitality Administration/Hotel Management/Culinary Arts/Culinary Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Age Limit: 30 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government norms)

Teaching Associate:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Hotel Management/Culinary Arts/Culinary Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government norms)

Examination Pattern:

• The exam will be held on November 17, 2024, in two sessions of two hours each.
• The exam will consist of three objective-type papers: Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • Assistant Lecturer:
    • Paper I: 40%
    • Paper II: 40%
    • Paper III: 45%
    • Overall: 45%
  • Teaching Associate:
    • Paper I: 35%
    • Paper II: 35%
    • Paper III: 40%
    • Overall: 40%

Application Process:

• Applications can be submitted online through the official website: www.nhtet-nchm.in
• Application Fee:
  • ₹500 for women, SC/ST/PWD, and transgender candidates
  • ₹1000 for others
• After submitting the online application, a printout of the confirmation sheet must be sent to the following address:
