APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU) – Ph.D. Admission Notification (2024-25)

Applications are invited for Ph.D. programs in Engineering, Science, Management, and Architecture offered by colleges affiliated to AKTU.

Types of Registration:

• Full-time Ph.D.
• Part-time Ph.D. (for faculty members and external researchers)

Fellowships:

• University fellowships available for eligible full-time scholars (as per university norms).

Eligibility:

• Master's degree in relevant field with a minimum CGPA as specified:
  • Engineering/Technology, Architecture, or Research Master's in Engineering/Technology (CGPA 5.75)
  • Applied Sciences, Basic Sciences, Mathematics, or Computer Applications (CGPA 5.75)
  • Management (CGPA 5.75) or Engineering/Technology in Management (CGPA 5.75)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture (CGPA 7.75) for specific programs

Selection Process:

• Entrance test (70 marks) and interview (30 marks)
• Entrance test: Part A (35 marks) and Part B (35 marks)
• Minimum 50% marks in the entrance test required for interview
