Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)-Notification

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 22 National Law Universities around the country.CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities.

 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Application

  • An LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty percent (50%) for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and Fourty-Five percent (45%) to SC/ST categories.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2022 are also eligible to apply.
  • No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT 2022.
  • Tie Breaker Rule: In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:
  • i. Higher age;
  • ii. Computerised draw of lots.
