About Us :

To fulfill the mission and vision of the Human Welfare Foundation and CTAG, CTAG West Bengal Chapter has started a residential coaching Centre for West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) Examination.

CTAG – Centre for Training and Academic Guidance is a one-stop solution to all your queries in the field of West Bengal Civil Services Examination. Along with a quality faculty team, we also ensure that high-quality study material is provided and students do not have to hustle to collect the same. Selection Process:

Candidates have to apply online mode through our website. Based on the entrance examination selected candidates will be called for a personality test. The final selected list will be published based on total acquired marks in the entrance examination and personality test.

Minimum qualifying marks:

– For the preliminary MCQ paper of 200 marks, the minimum qualifying marks will be 40%.
– For the descriptive paper of 200 marks, the minimum qualifying marks will be 45%.
– For the personality test of 100 marks, the minimum qualifying marks will be 45%.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination:

  • WBCS preliminary-based M.C.Q (200 marks)
  • WBCS mains are based on two compulsory papers i.e. Bengali and English only. (200 marks each)

Qualification and Criteria:

  • A graduate degree from a recognised university.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
  • Not below 21 years but no more than 36 years on the 1st January of the year of examination.

  • Form Fill-up Starting Date: 27.06.2024
  • Form Fill up End Date: 03.07.2024
  • Entrance Exam & Interview Date: 06.07.2024
  • Admission Process: 2nd Week of July, 2024
