Graduate Marine Engineering Course at Cochin Shipyard.

Cochin Shipyard has invited applications from engineering graduates for the Graduate Marine Engineering Course. Cochin Shipyard is an Indian shipbuilding company based in Kochi, Kerala. The company builds and repairs commercial and military vessels. It is owned by the Government of India and has been listed on the BSE and NSE.

About the Course

This is a12 month fully residential program. The Course is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Govt. of India. The Mode of Instruction is English and it covers class Room Instructions, Laboratory Work, Workshop Practices and afloat training that will be imparted as per the DGS-approved syllabus in accordance with STCW as amended by International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Eligibility.

1. Must be a graduate with Degree in Mechanical Engg./ Mechanical Stream of Engg./
   Naval Architecture Stream of Engg./ B Tech in Marine Engineering Approved by AICTE / UGC with aminimum 50% marks.
2.  The Candidate joining the course must be in sound health and shall produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from DG Shipping approved medical practitioner in the approved format
