Admissions Open for B.Tech Programs (2024-2025)
The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), Visakhapatnam invites applications for admission to its undergraduate Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs for the academic year 2024-2025.
Eligibility:
Applicants must have passed the Plus Two/equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 75% marks (65% marks for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates).
Applicants who have not secured 75% marks must be among the top 20th percentile scorers of their board in the Plus Two examination.
All applicants must have appeared for JEE Advanced 2024. (Rank will be considered during the admissions process.)

About the Institute:
IIPE is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
It is recognized as an "Institute of National Importance".
A total of 165 seats are available for the three B.Tech programs:
Petroleum Engineering (62 seats)
Chemical Engineering (63 seats)
Mechanical Engineering (40 seats)
How to Apply:
Online applications can be submitted through the B.Tech Admissions link on the IIPE website (www.iipe.ac.in) by July 5th, 5 PM IST.

The application fee is Rs. 1500 (Rs. 1000 for SC/ST candidates). Payment can be made online during the application process.
The first admission list will be announced on August 6th.
Selected candidates must pay the online admission fee by August 10th, 5 PM IST.
