Plus Two Passed Can Join the Army as Officers

 

The Indian Army is inviting applications for the Plus Two Technical Entry Scheme, which offers a chance to become an officer in the Indian Army. Candidates who have passed Plus Two with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply. The training will be conducted at the Military Academy in Dehradun. The course will commence in July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Candidates must have been born between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive).
  • Education: Must have passed Plus Two with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Selection Process:

  • The selection process will involve a written exam and an interview.
  • The written exam (JEE Mains) will be conducted in 2024.
  • The interview will be held in February or March 2025.

Application Process:

  • Applications must be submitted online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
  • Two copies of the printed application form must be submitted.
  • One copy of the form must be self-attested and submitted at the time of the interview.

Important Note:

  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
  • The selection is for a permanent commission in officer ranks.
