About the Recruitment:

PGCIL is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Engineering Trainees through GATE-2024 score. A total of 485 vacancies are available across various branches/disciplines.

About the Organization:

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. It is responsible for the transmission of electricity across the country through its vast network of transmission lines, substations and inter-state connectivity.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Age limit is 28 years as on 01.07.2024.

Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. GATE-2024 Score
2. Group Discussion
3. Personal Interview
4. Psychometric Assessment

Salary and Allowances:

• Trainees will be placed in a salary scale of ₹40,000-₹1,40,000.
• They will receive a monthly stipend along with basic salary, DA, and HRA.
• Upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Engineers in a salary scale of ₹50,000-₹1,60,000.
• Trainees will also be eligible for various benefits such as house rent allowance, provident fund, gratuity, and pension.
