Scholarship Opportunity for Students with Disabilities in India

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities is offering scholarships for students with disabilities in India. The scholarships cover Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, and Top Class Education.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students with a benchmark disability of 40% or more.
• Unique Disability Identity (UDID) or UDID enrollment number.
• Disability Certificate.

Application Process:

• Apply online through the National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarships.gov.in or via the Mobile App of National Scholarship Portal.
• Detailed information, eligibility criteria, and instructions for filling up the application form are available at www.depwd.gov.in.

Important Dates:

• Pre-Matric Scholarship:
  • Start date: 30.06.2024
  • Last date: 15.10.2024
• Post Matric Scholarship and Top Class Scholarship:
  • Start date: 30.06.2024
  • Last date: 31.10.2024
