Scholarship Opportunities for Mathematics Students Pursuing PG and PhD

 The National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) offers scholarships to students pursuing PG and PhD in Mathematics. This notification provides information on the eligibility criteria and the application process.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students pursuing PG or PhD in Mathematics can apply.
• The scholarship is available for those who plan to enroll in a PhD program in January 2024, as well as for those who are currently pursuing their PG or PhD.
• Candidates must pass the Section Test and Interview conducted by NBHM.

Scholarship Amount:

• PhD students will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 30,000.
• PG students will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 6,000.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates can apply through the NBHM website (www.nbhmexams.in) by April 5th.
• Candidates must appear for the Section Test, which will take place on April 29th.

Selection Process:

• The final selection will be based on the performance in the Section Test and Interview.
