PhD Admissions at Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai

Eligibility:
Physical Sciences: Applicants with a master's degree in Physics (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA)
Engineering Sciences: Applicants with an M.E. or M.Tech degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA)
Fellowship:
Selected candidates will receive a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) with a monthly stipend of:
₹37,000 for the first two years
₹42,000 for the remaining three years
JRF/SRF scholars will also be eligible for an annual contingency grant of ₹40,000 for book allowance.
Accommodation:
Hostel accommodation will be provided by HBNI.
Alternatively, students can opt for House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per DAE guidelines.
