LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme – 2023

The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme for the year 2023 is dedicated to providing financial support to students from economically weaker sections pursuing higher studies. Here are the key details:

1. General Scholarship:

a) Eligibility: - Candidates who passed Class XII exam or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in the Academic Year 2022-23. - Parents/guardian annual income not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum. - Open to those pursuing higher education in Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course, Vocational Courses, or other equivalent courses.

b) Rate of Scholarship: - Rs. 40,000/- per annum for Medicine. - Rs. 30,000/- per annum for Engineering. - Rs. 20,000/- per annum for Graduation, Integrated Courses, Diploma, Vocational Courses.

2. Special Scholarship for Girl Child:

c) Eligibility: - Female candidates passing Class X exam with at least 60% marks in the Academic Year 2022-23. - Parents/guardian annual income not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum. - Intended for higher studies in Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/Vocational or Diploma Courses.

d) Rate of Scholarship: - Rs. 15,000/- per annum for Special Scholarship for Girl Child.

3. Rate of Scholarship for General and Special Scholarships:

  • Scholarships are payable in three installments each year, subject to eligibility criteria.

4. Mode of Applying:

  • Only online applications are accepted through the official LIC website at https://licindia.in.

5. Last Date of Submission:

  • The last date for submitting online applications is January 14, 2024.
