Recruitment Notice for PGT Teachers in Bhutan Government Higher Secondary Schools

EdCIL (India) Limited, on behalf of The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (Royal Government of Bhutan), invites online applications from Indian Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) for recruitment to various teaching posts in higher secondary schools of Bhutan Government on a contract basis.

Teaching Positions:

• Mathematics
• ICT/Computer Science/IT
• Chemistry
• Physics

Tenure and Posting:

• The tenure of posting is a minimum of 2 years.
• Teachers may be posted anywhere in Bhutan.
• The tenure may be renewed based on mutual agreement between the Royal Government of Bhutan and the candidate.

• Computer Science/ICT: 28 vacancies
• Physics: 18 vacancies
• Chemistry: 19 vacancies
• Mathematics: 35 vacancies

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
• Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree is mandatory for specific subjects.
• Proficiency in teaching in the English Language.
• 5 years of work experience in teaching in the relevant subject in 11th and 12th Grades.
• Maximum age of 55 years as of 16th Jan 2024.
• Good physical fitness and no medical conditions hindering service delivery.
• Cut-Off date for determining eligibility criteria: 16th Jan 2024.

Remuneration:

• Consolidated gross remuneration of Rs. 1,40,000/- per month from the date of joining.
