CSIR - URDIP inviting applications for Post-Graduate Diploma Course in the field of Patinformatics

CSIR - URDIP is now inviting applications for its one-year full-time post-graduate diploma course in the field of Patinformatics.

CSIR-Unit for Research and Development of Information Products has been working in the field of Patinformatics for more than a decade. Patinformatics is fast emerging as a science of analyzing patent information which supports decision-making in research, technology, and business planning.

The course has been designed to impart training in the field of patent searching, reading, and analysis for the purpose of creating patent landscapes, identifying research gaps, competitive intelligence, new venture evaluation, patent portfolio management, and techno-legal analysis, besides giving the candidates a broad overview on Intellectual Property and Patent Statutes.

Eligibility

The minimum qualification required is a Post Graduate Degree from recognized universities. The candidate should have any one of the following:

• Masters degree in any branch of Science/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks
• M.Pharm. with a minimum of 60% marks
• B.E/ B. Tech. with minimum 60% marks
• L.L.B with graduation in Science with minimum 60% marks at each degree
• M.Lib. Sci. with graduation in Science with minimum 60% at each degree
• MBA with graduation in Science with minimum 60% at each degree

Application Fees:

 Rs 1000/ - to be paid in the CSIR-URDIP SBI account. 50% concession will be provided for SC/ST/Physically handicapped/EWS candidates.
