According to the Law Commission of India" Legal education is a science which imparts to students knowledge of certain principles and provisions of law to enable them to enter the legal profession".The primary goal of legal education is to generate socially conscious lawyers. The National Law University in Delhi is one of India's most prestigious law schools. NLU is located in Dwaraka, New Delhi, and provides its students with cutting-edge facilities and infrastructure. National Law University Delhi's curriculum and pedagogy are meant to bridge the gap between academic principles and their practical implementations. Courses Provided

A. BA LLB(HONS)-5 Year Programme
Eligibility: Completed +2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks. Candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply.

B. LLM-One Year Programme
Eligibility: LLB or equivalent Law degree with 50%marks. Final year students are also eligible.

C. PhD Programme.
Eligibility: LLM or any equivalent degree with 55% marks

D. PG Diploma and Online Courses.

The Admissions Process


Admission to the University's programmes will be through an admission test called the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), which will be administered by the university. Test dates, locations, and other details will be publicised on the university website.

University offers a variety of scholarships to its students. The Dr. Santosh Chawla Endowment Award is a one-of-a-kind award.

Placements


Many students are placed as a result of the university's campus placement campaign. Students at NLU can also participate in internships.
