The BDS(Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is the degree given to a person who plays a vital role in the treatment of problems related to teeth. The dentist prevents, diagnoses and cures all dental and related issues.BDS is the only educational and professional program of dental surgery in India.
The BDS degree is awarded on the successful completion of the four-year academic education and the one year mandatory internship.
Eligibility
Students who have studied Biology as a subject in his/her 11th and 12th standard can opt for BDS.NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) Score is a must for getting seats in medical colleges in India.
