South Eastern Railway is inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals for Act Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. This opportunity is open to individuals seeking hands-on training in workshops and other establishments of South Eastern Railway.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years (as on 01.01.2025)
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Additional 10 years + service duration in Defense Forces + 3 years (minimum 6 months of continuous service required).
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation/10th class in the 10+2 system from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks (aggregate, excluding additional subjects).
- ITI Pass Certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
- Medical Fitness:
- Candidates must meet the prescribed medical fitness standards certified by a Railway Medical Doctor as per Annexure-II.
Application Fee:
- General/OBC Candidates: ₹100 (non-refundable)
- SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates: No fee
- Payment can be made online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI/e-Wallets.
Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on a merit list (trade-wise) prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate).
