The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), a Deemed University in India, is seeking applications for its Ph.D. and M.Sc. (Neuroscience) programs for the 2025 academic year. Ph.D. Program Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Ph.D. program, you must successfully pass one of the following qualifying exams:
- Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS-December 2024)
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2023/GATE-2024) (for specific subjects)
- Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST-2024)
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) exam in relevant subjects by CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR (must have qualified on or after December 2023)
- UGC-NET JRF qualified on or after December 2023
M.Sc. Program Eligibility:
Admission to the M.Sc. program requires passing the Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS-December 2024).
Transition from M.Sc. to Ph.D.:
Students who excel in the M.Sc. program will have the opportunity to continue their studies in the Ph.D. program upon meeting the required criteria.
