The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially activated the online application correction facility for the UGC-NET December 2026 examination. Registered candidates who made unintentional typographical errors in their submitted application forms can make permissible corrections from 02 November to 04 November 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).

Permissible vs Restricted Correction Fields
✔ Allowed to Change (Any ONE of the following):
- Candidate Name, OR
- Father’s Name, OR
- Mother’s Name
Note: Additional fields such as Category/Sub-category, Educational qualification details, or Choice of Exam City may also be updated subject to payment of any differential fee.
✖ NOT Allowed to Change:
- Mobile Number
- E-Mail Address
- Address (Permanent & Present)
- Photograph – Image Uploaded
- Signature – Image Uploaded
These identity & contact fields are strictly locked and cannot be edited.
Important Instructions for Applicants
- This is a one-time facility provided by NTA to avoid hardship to candidates. Once changes are submitted, no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances.
- If changes in category or PwD status require an additional fee differential, candidates must pay the balance amount online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI before 11:50 PM on 04 November 2026.
- Always download and save the revised Confirmation Page after successfully completing and submitting the corrections.
