CUET (PG) – 2026 Application started
Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) – CUET (PG) 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is required is for admission to a wide range of Postgraduate programmes offered by Central Universities and other participating Universities/Institutions for the academic session 2026–27, has started applications.
Online registration and submission of the Application Form will be open from 14 December 2025 to 14 January 2026 (up to 11:50 PM) through online mode only. The last date for successful payment of the examination fee is 14 January 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). A facility for correction in the application form will be available from 18 January 2026 to 20 January 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode with a duration of 90 minutes, tentatively scheduled in March 2026. Details regarding examination city, date, shift, and timing will be indicated on the e-Admit Card, which will be released on the official website in due course.

CUET (PG) – 2026 scores will be used for admission to a broad range of Postgraduate programmes, including but not limited to the following disciplines:
1. Common and Professional Programmes
Agribusiness Management, Commerce, Economics, Education (B.Ed., M.Ed., M.A. Education), Library and Information Science, LLM, Journalism and Mass Communication, Public Health, Yoga, Hospital and Healthcare Management, Sports and Physical Education, Disaster Studies, and other allied programmes.
2. Languages
Postgraduate programmes in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabic, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Punjabi, Odia, Nepali, Persian, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other Indian and foreign languages, including Linguistics and language-based journalism courses.
3. Sciences
Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, Forensic Science, Food Science and Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Geology, Geography (Applied/Geoinformatics), Material Science, Nanoscience, Agricultural and Allied Sciences, and related interdisciplinary programmes.
4. Humanities and Social Sciences
History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Social Work, Geography, Museology, Home Science, Fine Arts, Performing Arts (Music, Dance, Theatre), Visual and Applied Arts, Textile Design, and Cultural Studies.
5. M.Tech. / Higher Sciences
Postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Technology disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, Chemical, Food, Textile, Nano Technology, Water Engineering, and other higher science and technology programmes.
6. Acharya and Indic Studies
Acharya programmes in Shiksha Shastri, Shiksha Acharya, Veda, Vedanta, Jyotish, Dharma Shastra, Hindu Studies, Buddhist Studies, Jain Studies, Indian Knowledge System, Sanskrit-based disciplines, and other traditional knowledge systems.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify the programme-specific eligibility criteria, subject requirements, and corresponding question paper codes as prescribed by the respective universities before applying. Selection and admission will be carried out by the participating universities based on CUET (PG) – 2026 scores and their individual admission policies.
