Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Admission to M.Sc. Programmes in Biotechnology and Computational & Integrative Sciences 2026-27

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi is offering admission to (i) M.Sc. in Biotechnology and (ii) M.Sc. in Computational and Integrative Sciences for the Academic Year 2026-27.

Eligibility:
– M.Sc. Biotechnology: Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in Physical, Biological (Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Botany/Microbiology/Zoology), Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-year B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course), MBBS/BDS with at least 55% marks
– M.Sc. Computational and Integrative Sciences: Minimum 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology, including medicine and engineering disciplines

Seats:
– M.Sc. Biotechnology: 30 (UR-12, SC-5, ST-2, OBC-8, EWS-3, PWD-2*)
– M.Sc. Computational and Integrative Sciences: 15 (UR-6, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4, EWS-2, PWD-1*)

Admission Process:
Candidates must have appeared in GAT-B (Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology) 2026, conducted by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology. Applicants must submit their GAT-B Registration Number, Score, and Rank while applying. Merit lists will be prepared category-wise based on GAT-B 2026 scores.
