Applications open, IIT Bombay to conduct UCEED 2026 on 18 Jan

Applications for UCEED 2026 (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design) conducted by IIT Bombay have been started and shall close on 31 Oct 2025 (without late fee).

This Entrance Exam is being conducted for admissions in the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Indore and IIITDM Jabalpur. UCEED score is also accepted by many other leading institutes for admission in their BDesign programme.

UCEED is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign).

Academic eligibility:
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2025, OR appearing in 2026. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible.

• Last Date to Apply with a late fee: 07 November 2025
• UCEED 2026 Examination: 18 Jan 2026
