The National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India,  is inviting applications for the PhD program (January 2025 session).

Eligibility:

• Master’s Degree: M.Sc./M.Tech in relevant fields like Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Nanobiotechnology, Postharvest Technology, Functional Foods, Genomics, Computational Biology, etc. from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• GATE/NET Qualification: Candidates must have qualified in GATE, any other national-level exam, or possess a fellowship from recognized agencies like UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DST/DBT/NABI/Government.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in relevant fields.
