Eligibility Criteria

• B.Des: Completion of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• B.F.Tech: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
• M.Des and M.F.M: Undergraduate degree from a recognized institute or diploma (minimum 3 years) from NIFT/NID.
• M.F.Tech: B.F.Tech from NIFT or an equivalent engineering degree.

Entrance Examination Details

• Examination Date: Sunday, February 9, 2025
• Mode of Exam:
  • General Ability Test (GAT): Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Creative Ability Test (CAT): Paper-Based Test (PBT)

For B.Des programs, a Situation Test will follow the written examination for shortlisted candidates.

1. Online Registration: Candidates must apply through the NTA’s portal: https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/.
2. Steps to Apply:
   • Register using a valid email and mobile number.
   • Fill out the application form with accurate details.
   • Upload scanned copies of:
     • Recent passport-sized photograph (10–200 KB)
     • Signature (4–30 KB)
     • Relevant certificates (50–500 KB).
   • Pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
