Notification: Admission to Postgraduate Diploma in Tea Management (PGDTM) 2025–2026

The University of North Bengal invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to the One-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Tea Management (PGDTM) offered by the Department of Tea Science for the academic session 2025–2026. This professional programme provides comprehensive training in tea plantation, production, manufacturing, marketing, and management, supported by field visits, practical sessions, and expert-led instruction.

Eligibility

• Any graduate from a recognized university in any discipline (including Agriculture).
• Preference will be given to candidates up to 30 years of age as on 1 June 2025.

Course Duration

• One year, divided into two semesters.
• Classes commence on 6 January 2026.
• Includes theory, practicals, viva-voce, dissertation, and extensive tea garden visits.

Total Seats

• 56 seats
  • Indian Students: 49
  • SAARC Country Students: 2
  • Foreign Students (Non-SAARC): 5
• Reservation as per norms (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD).

Course Fee (Non-refundable)

• Indian Candidates: ₹30,000
• SAARC Countries: ₹50,000
• Other Foreign Nationals: ₹80,000
  (Payable in two equal installments)
