The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the schedule and opened the online registration window for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2027. Parents and guardians can submit online applications for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 from 3 November to 2 December 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit)
1. For Class VI Admission:
- Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years of age as on 31 March 2027.
- Admission is open for both Boys and Girls.
- Candidate must be studying in or have passed Class 5 from a recognized school.
2. For Class IX Admission:
- Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years of age as on 31 March 2027.
- Admission is open for both Boys and Girls (subject to vacancy in the respective school).
- Candidate should have passed Class 8 from a recognized school at the time of admission.
Scheme & Pattern of Examination
- Class VI Test (300 Marks): Mathematics (150 marks), Intelligence (50 marks), Language (50 marks), and General Knowledge (50 marks). Duration: 150 minutes.
- Class IX Test (400 Marks): Mathematics (200 marks), Intelligence (50 marks), English (50 marks), General Science (50 marks), and Social Studies (50 marks). Duration: 180 minutes.
- Selection Stages: Written Examination (AISSEE) → E-Counselling → Medical Fitness Test → Final Document Verification.
