National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate courses (UG) in 2025. This examination is a prerequisite for admission to undergraduate medical courses (MBBS/BDS) in all medical institutions across India.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit:
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2025.
- There is no upper age limit for NEET UG 2025.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing for their class 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
- General category candidates must have secured at least 50% marks, while SC/ST/OBC candidates must have at least 40%.
- Number of Attempts:
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts.
Application Process:
- Registration: Candidates must register online through the official NTA NEET website (https://neet.nta.nic.in).
- Application Form: After registration, candidates should fill out the application form with correct details and upload the required documents such as photograph, signature, and other relevant certificates.
- Application Fee: The application fee varies according to the candidate’s category:
- General/OBC (NCL): ₹1700 and ₹1600 respectively
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: ₹1000
- For candidates outside India: ₹9500
The fee can be paid online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Submission: After completing all steps, candidates should submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

- Date for Correction in Application Form: 9th to 11th March 2025
- Release of Admit Card: by 1st May 2025

Syllabus:
- The NEET UG 2025 syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as per the NCERT and CBSE curriculum of Class 11 and Class 12.
Exam Pattern:
- The Test pattern of NEET (UG) – 2025 comprises Physics, Chemistry, Biology
(Botany & Zoology). The question paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions which
must be attempted by the candidates in 180 minutes.Â
